What else is there to say but we have a living legend in the studio. Run DMC were the godfathers of rap. First to have a gold and platinum rap album, first rap video on MTV, and as DMC discovered during the show – the first to do a rap cover song! Darryl McDaniels is one of the most engaging, articulate, and fantastic story tellers we’ve ever had in the studio. This hour FLEW by for us. The entire room was kind of hypnotized by his stories. From how Run DMC came to be, to his contemplation of suicide, to his launch of his new comics – this was one for the record books! Thanks so much to Bumblefoot for making it happen.
